Nutjob.

Sorbo questioned the identity of the Democratic presidential nominee in a post on X, writing: "If Kamala really is black, have her say the N-word, let the people decide for themselves".

Words fail me.

Its a decent read with strange stuff going back to Xena days.
From his Jan6th tweet Sorbo is very deep in with Trumpicans.

Put it this way, Lucy Lawless still has an acting career, he doesn't.

Albert Einstein: “Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I’m not sure about the universe.”

If you're a celebrity and a Trump supporter; I'm not sure if you are a celebrity.

Off topic, former (???) Trump supporter and has-been celebrity Kanye West is strongly rumored to have a very expensive nitrous oxide sniffing habit, on the order of $50,000/month.

You don't primarily get high because of hypoxia, oxygen deprivation; primarily the high is its impact on neurotransmitters and brain chemistry.

However taking excessive nitrous may cause hypoxia, and that can cause brain cells to die, leading to permanent brain damage. Chronic use is associated with psychiatric effects, like memory loss, depression, and psychosis.

Given Kanye's bizarre behavior, some suspect this may be an explanation.

Google "Kanye West Thomas Connelly nitrous" for the strange story.

RFK Jr. Tried To Meet With Kamala Harris To Discuss A Cabinet Post: Reports
“We’ve been told that they have no interest in talking with me," independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told The New York Times.

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. tried to arrange a meeting with Vice President Kamala Harris to secure a place in her administration or a cabinet post in exchange for an endorsement, according to multiple reports.

The Washington Post first reported that Kennedy made the overture through intermediaries, just weeks after he proposed as similar arrangement to former President Donald Trump after the Republican National Convention last month. The pair spoke about the plan, but did not reach an agreement on the matter.

In the States, they would say that RFK Jr. that is no longer invited to Thanksgiving.

Business Insider: Every Kennedy family member that opposes RFK Jr.'s presidential campaign

Since the day he declared for office, Democratic-turned-Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been chastised by his fellow Kennedys for being a threat to President Joe Biden's chances at reelection.

Many of them endorsed Biden over their relative during a campaign stop in Philadelphia in April. Kennedy, whose campaign could hurt Donald Trump's reelection chances, brushed it off in a lengthy social media post highlighting his affection for them.

"I hear some of my family will be endorsing President Biden today," Kennedy posted. "I am pleased they are politically active — it's a family tradition. We are divided in our opinions but united in our love for each other."
...
Kerry Kennedy has been harshly critical of her brother, including when he shared the unfounded claim that COVID-19 was "ethnically targeted" to avoid Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese people.

"I strongly condemn my brother's deplorable and untruthful remarks last week about Covid being engineered for ethnic targeting," Kerry Kennedy said at the time. "His statements do not represent what I believe or what Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights stand for, with our 50+-year track record of protecting rights and standing against racism and all forms of discrimination."

Kerry Kennedy is directly involved in shaping her father's legacy as president of Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, a nonprofit organization. She also wrote a 2018 book about RFK's legacy that is based on interviews with celebrities like Bono and world leaders like President Barack Obama.

Sweet, I hope these bullies get the book thrown at them. Disagreements in politics are fine, but intimidating anyone just because of the way they vote is absolutely pathetic.

I don't think very much of Trump supporters (some of whom are family) but I don't sit there and degrade them just because of their voting preferences, although I admit that listening to them parrot his endless, non-stop bs gets a bit much sometimes.

As an aside, I doubt Trump cares at all about them, nor will do anything to save them from going to court and/or jail. Hope they think it was worth it.

The NY Times - George Santos Pleads Guilty to Wire Fraud and Identity Theft

breaking

George Santos, the disgraced former Republican congressman from New York whose penchant for lying led to one of the oddest sideshows in modern U.S. politics, pleaded guilty on Monday to wire fraud and aggravated identity theft.

While Mr. Santos’s plea will allow him to avoid a trial on a total of nearly two dozen charges - including money laundering and stealing public funds - it all but ensures he will face at least two years in prison and as long as two decades.

The trial was set to begin next month. ...

Santos also agreed to pay $373,749.97 in restitution and forfeit another $205,002.97 before his sentencing.

A (I found it quite interesting) look at what it's really like inside MAGA world, with an undercover reporter who was "part of the crowd" for almost a year.

The Guardian - Editorial - Cronies and casualties

21 Aug 2024

Mike Lindell, the longtime Trump ally of My Pillow Guy fame, might have to appear before a judge and explain himself for failing to turn over documents in a civil case.

At Lindell’s 2021 cyber symposium, he offered a $5m prize to anyone who could disprove his claim about election interference.

As it turned out, a man by the name of Robert Zeidman – who voted for Trump – won the “Prove Mike Wrong” challenge.

When Lindell didn’t pay up, and refused to do so even after arbitration ended in Zeidman’s favour – the case eventually wound up in federal court.

The funny thing was Zeidman has never been interested in the money. He was doing it for kicks, and would have done it for free.

However he dislikes Trump; if he can't get a pound of orange flesh, he'll take a pound of fluffy flesh from a minion.

Mike Lindell

I find him one of the more interesting characters in Trump's orbit, who actually 110% believes the "stolen election" bs, and I've seen him get into quite a few arguments with people who disagree with him.

Gotta admire his dedication - God does love a trier, after all - but it's not going to help him get any further ahead in life (in fact it seems to be taking him backwards?), and definitely won't lead to increased pillow sales.
