Last thread got nuked because someone invoked Godwin's.

Need to start again on a lighter note...

While the World worries about ICBMs could the North Koreans be also working away a very short range nukes such as:   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Davy_Crockett_(nuclear_device)

Maybe a tiny nuke shell fired at the same time as many other conventional shells - so any missile defence system would not have any chance of shooting it down.

The NK Army has swelled to over 5 million. Given that all North Korean citizens must do military training that number is going to be a handful.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

i wouldn't worry (I dont) about WW3 coming via conflict in NK. Holding NK up as a bogeyman serves as a handy distraction for our political masters.

The REAL problems are the ones that affect YOU ( and me) - lack of housing, employment, low wage economy, climate change, pollution, access to education etc etc.

The west is in a slow decline - it makes for much crappier movies than WW3 in NK though.

Back on topic - totes, that's awesome coordination. The video / audio synchronisation was a bit quick and dirty though.

I suspect NK subs won't be too stealthy if they are diesel electric.

LOL at the number of marchers with RPGs - an ideal side arm ! NZ probably has as many RPGs as the front row.

That marching style has got to hurt.

It is very hard and very tiring. The slow march gives similar discomfort. Most armies used to use the Goose Step as a ceremonial march but it went out of favour during WW2.

Man, are you sure those aren't robots?!

I suppose the threat of being shot will ensure good marching!

Brilliant! A funny 1970's vision of what they thought Western Society could become. Sadly, not too far from the truth. "Bugger .... it's snowing"!

I think I have more respect for Asian discipline at the end of the day and that discipline has my admiration. They show discipline that us Westerners have sadly lost ..... possibly due to us protesting on Twitter!

All jokes to one side, I think jokes about those poor people forced into the military in N Korea show a lack of understanding, maturity and empathy.

Perhaps people might one day come to look at threads like this and think "Sh*t I am lucky"

we certainly are lucky but we have to be careful to preserve those freedoms - which is why i was disappointed people were so cavalier about the revelations our government has been busy either spying on us or facilitating spying by other nations.
