LOL

She believed the Government was not providing enough money to run the city properly.

"If you would prefer your Reserve Bank extend adequate money supplies so that we have hospitals funded and underground carparks built and overpasses and the money we need to clean up the beach," she said.

Seems a good idea. First create a Reserve Bank, and a currency, then set the bank note printers running. Sounds easy if you say it fast

Be gone to all you south Aucklanders!

They also need gates at Devonport with armed guards turning away anyone who does look local...

"She also believes 1080 could be responsible for Mycoplasma bovis disease, affecting New Zealand cattle."

Hmm, well given M Bovis is present in all countries around the world ( except for Norway)-and 1080 is not widely used around the world, I would say this is highly unlikely ...

"Make the Shore great again!"

Great idea let's put up a border and those that commute in and out of the shore each day pay a border tax, present their Passports and charge a import tax for goods coming from NZ into the shore LOL

She's a looney looking for attention.

A trip to the Amazon (according to last night's news) collecting signatures from (I presume illiterate) tribesmen in favour of their own statehood didn't garner enough publicity, so she's ramped up her efforts.

WTF is a a "legal strategist"? Is that like a "legal idiot"?

I'm all in favour of her having her own country... it'll raise the average IQ of ours. She probably believes she's Napoleon reincarnated, looking for a country as a base for another conquest of Europe.

I'd like to hear what The Logic Party has to say.

[Edit... after a brief search, it appears that she *is* The Logic Party]

Clements also believes the Paris Agreement is a greater threat to national sovereignty than the [sic]TTP. She suggests that the political parties who currently aim to naively or insidiously re-engineer our society, currency, tax and trade toward an effective new global currency, are confused by the notion that 'carbon is a pollutant', when it is the gas that sustains all life.

She obviously lives on a planet at a substantially higher temperature than ours.

After watching Seven Sharp last night, I am led to believe the currency you are talking about is the Northshore Barry (named after Hillary, who lives there).

"That'll be 5 Barries thanks mate!"

There is a reason that as you come over the bridge from the city there is a big sign that says "North Shore - Major Turn off" :)

Put it this way, anything south of the bridge is South Auckland. I know where i'd rather be.
I put together a totally non biased map of the shore from a Devonport Residents view.

I believe the origin of the "Barry" is highly debated amongst the separatists, and there is a large faction who believe its origin is related to the local MP Maggie Barry,

Representatives from the People front of Judea and the Judean peoples front have been called in to help settle this once and for all.. :)
