Got a phone call from someone claiming to be IRD Wellingtion, suggesting govt has given me a grant of $7000. I disconnected the phone saying its a scam. It was a Private Number, and some lag in voice, didn't seem to be someone calling on a toll line from Wellington.

Anyone else got this?

No I haven't seen this, but the best way to combat this stuff is to use a voice provider who can record your calls for you and provides caller ID on those numbers.
