I was thinking of buying the Quic GWN7062E WiFi-6 router to replace my existing Archer AX10 TP Link.

Thinking that it might be a better connection for my DNS4Me connections, am I right in thinking this is just plug and play and then change the DNS settings after for DNS4Me.

Or do I stick with my current AX10 or perhaps an alternative to change said DNS settings?

Pretty much all routers allow you to change DNS settings, including the Archer AX10.

Why wold it be a better connection to a specific DNS?

My advice would be to stick to the ISP supplied DNS settings at the router and only use the DNS4Me settings at the playback device level.
