It seems that AI is great for taking my hairbrained ideas to half baked ones, and has found some various interesting solutions for things that I would never have found in a long time of googling.

I'm wanting to make a video switcher for my wall of cheap old small CRTs and not liking the idea of a 4U sized extron switch to do it. Claude found the matrix switch chip I needed on aliepxress, found the video buffer chips and has given me a crude schematic and some esphome yaml to drive the matrix switching chip in about 5 mins. This has been something that I was thinking of building with 8 to one analog switches, one on each display and have a hell of a lot more wiring.
