I am trying to use Dishworld IPTV with proxy service such as unblock-us.

With unblock-us, I am able to use Netflix but facing intermittent issues with Dishworld, this is similar to existing forum on unblock-us - http://support.unblock-us.com/customer/portal/questions/1384488-please-add-support-for-dishworld

After reading forums on geekzone I decided to try tunnelbear and it is working perfectly fine on my laptop. I am able to watch all Dishworld channels from my laptop.

My next task is to configure router with tunnelbear, so that I can use mobile, tablet, and laptop to watch Dishworld. I am also thinking of getting a Roku.

Is it possible to use tunnelbear on a Roku device or a router, can't see any router/roku support on their website :(

Also, any recommendations on proxy services which I can use for Dishworld?

Unblock-us officially supports DishWorld unlike Unotelly which refuses to even entertain the question of adding support for it. Have lodged a ticket with Unblock-us couple of weeks ago who said they are aware of the issue and are looking into it. Several other's have complained in the same support link above.

The only other option that is bound to work almost 100% of the time is a VPN solution from the likes of Astrill. Buy a router like Asus RT-N66U or something that you can flash tomato onto and Astrill will deploy their custom Tomato firmware on top with your VPN settings pre-configured. You can then even tell which devices in your network use the VPN (eg Roku) and which do not (e.g TV, Xbox etc)

I am also very close at giving it up with unblock-us and buying a router and go with Astrill. Have a UFB 100/50 connection so speeds will not be an issue.

Do whatever you want to do man.

im probably going to wait for another week or 2 and then i am switching. I already have astrill for the pc but need to install dd-wrt onto my netgear r6300. It just takes too long to set it all up again :P

My existing router (Linksys WAG120N) doesn't support Astrill, so I am not very keen on it at the moment but if I don't find any other solution then I might go with Astrill.

Thanks guys.

It seems to working better now. I tried Dishworld app multiple times yesterday and only once got the error.

Are you using Roku or just using it from laptop?

If I don't face any major issues over next few days then I don't mind getting a Roku device from Amazon.
