gzt: Search this topic for "TradeMe" and you'll find the one I used for a year. Also overkill. I used it for Ethernet and camera and an occasional USB sideload. I did not get mic working with the cheap cameras I tried. I've heard mic works with Logitech brand cannot confirm. I think I got the hub onboard audio working details will be in a different post if so.

Somebody on a Reddit forum posted this combination which they said worked for them

And this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MYTSN18/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_BFJD7G1Q33PSF6WSSN3D

It's cheaper than most hubs, and works perfectly.

Yes that's excellent for usb-a breakout plus Ethernet. Back then for my purchase I was after a general purpose all in one breakout.

So now that we have official support in NZ I thought we’d have curated content sort in to the Googletv tabs (for you, movies, shows…) but I still only have search, home, apps, library. I tried clearing the data from launcherx but still the same. Are we not fully supported or is it because I purchased mine from overseas? What am I missing?

It might be the overseas thing. I have content suggestions on mine.

I do have suggestions but they are under the home tab. I’ve had it for 12 months and it functions perfectly but the tabs being different just bugs me. I guess it’s factory reset time

Can anyone tell me how well these work for NZ streaming services? e.g. is there a Sky Sports Now app?

I haven't used Google TV before - are you saying that any app in the Play Store will work on the "Chromecast with Google TV"?

Any Android TV/Google TV app. The Play Store will know you're using a Google TV device, as opposed to a phone or tablet.

Do you have English (New Zealand) as a language option? I do not even after a reset.

Is there a way of checking before I buy a Chromecaset with Google TV to see what apps are available? I found a page on the Play Store that seems like it shows this: https://play.google.com/store/apps?device=tv But this only has a handful of apps and is missing all the NZ services.
