spideronfire:

all replaced ipod that come back to us come with a note attached saying they have a 3 month warranty. thats apples policy not ours.

Ok, I know Telegistics (Telecom's Repair agents) have a similar 3 month service ticket warranty (irrespective if the phone was replaced or not), OR the balance of the existng manufactures warranty, which ever is greater. I assume this is the same here.

Any product sent away to be repaired comes with a 90 day warranty when it gets back to the consumer.

Ipod's are a funny case as you almost never get your Ipod back, you almost always get a refurbished unit.

Some retailers, and DSE have done this, will quite often "exchange" and new unit through their POS so that the consumer gets a 12 month warranty. However, they are not required to do so.
