Very very tempting to get this once I have my living area cleaned up.

No 85 listed at JB, wonder what that will end up going for.

Harvey norman have both 75 and 85 and are cheaper for the 75 but no promo on the 85.

Anyone managed to find a spec sheet on the 65A7HNZ ? Their website is very vague.

Harvey Norman have a U6H model listed but zero specs and it's not listed on Hisense's website at all.

https://www.harveynorman.co.nz/tv-and-audio/televisions/4k-uhd-televisions/hisense-65-u6h-uled-4k-smart-tv.html

Tempted to pull the trigger on the 65" U6H, sounds like its the next model up from the A7H but the same price.

That's interesting - Also funny how it's usually 5 years warranty in UK (where I brought my last one). But only 3 years here. Why is the warranty always so short in NZ, I've noticed the same for so many things. I got used to the 2-3 year warranty for almost all things in UK.

Doesn't really matter as you have rights under the CGA. LG have fixed my telly FOC outside of their warranty period without issue.

Went into the local Harvey Norman today and one of the sales reps was kind enough to let me play with the 65U6H, it's running Hisense's own Vidaa smart TV OS, but on the positives side of things, I tested multiple Dolby Vision .TS files, an AV1 .MKV, and a HDR10+ .TS file, and the native video player played everything without a fault! The only other thing I didn't like is that it doesn't have a FILMMAKER MODE preset. Here's hoping we get some higher end models in the near future, but I believe any competition in this range is good for the consumer!

Hisense is one of the more popular Chinese brands for TVs. In the overseas market, it's one of the best bang-for-buck TVs you can get and very popular with gamers on a budget.

However, whilst in China for my OE, I have found that many of the older Hisense TVs in shops etc. have colour fade/purple tint so perhaps don't expect a life expectancy as long as the Korean/Japanese TVs.

TCL is way overpriced here in NZ, hopefully Hisense price their TVs much better in NZ.

Why would you offer subs to sky and neon as an incentive to get a 4k HDR tv when both don't deliver? That's like offering a free VHS rental back with a new full HD tv.
