Try turning on overscan from the menu. If it disappears, it won't be the panel itself, and could be the source or processing? I think there could be a few PY800's still up at HN Manukau or Mt Wellington if needed.

tried overscan, didnt make any difference. THe line didnt move position, so its not in the actual picture but in the panel itself.

Played a DVD also and the line is still there. Will phoen HN soon.

Good news, Harvey Norman are are dropping off a new (replacement) TV and picking the broken one up at the same time. Saves us a trip to Tauranga (from Matamata).

Harvey Norman you rock! (except I wish you would cease that "you need a Monster cable to get the best picture" sales pitch)

Just popped into The Appliance Shed in Porana Rd, North Shore today, and see they are selling the last of Panasonics stock of the Panasonic 50" Full HD with built-in Freeview tuner, model TH-50PZ850 at $2850. What a great deal (if you want the model with built-in Freeview). They've sold lots, and think they'll be sold out in a week or two. Apparently Panasonic made them "damage" the boxes and asked them not to advertise them. Apparently the other branches have them too.
