Cult favourite THE CROW (1994) starring Brandon Lee, will be getting a 30th Anniversary 4K Ultra HD release in the US on May 7th. Paramount will also have a SteelBook Edition for sale. No purchase options are available at Amazon US yet.

Hopefully All Interactive Distribution will get it for the Australasian market.

That Guns of Navarone edition looks awesome. Watched it so many times with Dad when I was a kid

What's the story with ordering from JB Hi-Fi in Aus? Sounds like they refuse some NZ orders - that's titles they intend to stock at NZ stores?

All three look good to me. Apparently the transfers are superb, as we have come to expect from Sony's 4K Ultra HD releases.

JB Hi-Fi online ship from a central location and many of the older titles are only available for pickup from stores, which rules out NZ buyers. Its just a game of pot luck really. We can usually have success with Pre-orders or recently released titles.

Another option is to check out EzyDVD. They have been in the physical media market in Australia for some time now and myself and others in this thread have ordered multiple times from them with absolutely no problems. Unfortunately, you won't find any SteelBooks at EzyDVD.

Warner Bros will release the Oceans Trilogy in individual SteelBook Editions in the US on April 30th. No news yet if they plan to release a Standard Edition Trilogy set.

Roadshow will probably get these titles, but likely to be Standard releases or a Trilogy set.

All three SteelBooks have different matching pack of cards artwork.

Browsing the EzyDVD website upcoming titles; I noticed that The Beekeeper, Anyone But You, Migration, The Holdovers and Night Swim, are all releasing over the next two months, Normally I would welcome five new titles, but these releases are BLU-RAY only! Maybe 4K Ultra HD options will come later. It's a bit of a worry though.

Unfortunately I think this may be a new trend, Poor Things isn’t getting a 4K release either :(

It reminds me a bit of 20 years ago, when the 2-disc collector edition DVD would come a year after the no frills single disc. I've been meaning to order Arrow's bluray of Heathers for a while, but I know as soon as I do, a 4k collectors edition will be announced!

I noticed The Holdovers, which I loved, is on 4k pre-order only in the UK. But at $60 NZ including post, I think I'll settle for a $30 blu ray. The difference in quality isn't significant enough for my eyes. I've yet to upgrade any blu ray in my collection to 4k, but am keen to replace standard DVDs with the best version available.

It doesn't look like it. Wonka SteelBook not available either. It's still possible that we will. Fingers crossed.

The SteelBook Editions at JBAU are only AU$3.00 more than the Standard Editions at AU$39.98 plus shipping of around AU$4.50. The SteelBooks also include a Blu-ray as well. Standard Editions don't.

If we got a SteelBook Edition in NZ, it's likely that it will be the same price as the JBAU release even taking shipping and exchange rate into account. If you really want the Aquaman Steelie, I'd Pre-order from JBAU.
