Should have said Amazon AU.
Thanks for the heads up. I looked on Amazon AU a couple of days ago. The price has dropped somewhat since then.
Now, I need to add some more titles to get the free shipping π

I browsed the Amazon AU website to get my order up to $AU49 for the free shipping. Ordered Mad Max: Fury Road, POTC: Dead Men Tell No Tales and Braveheart, which came to just over $AU50.
I got caught in the trap for new players. I still had to pay shipping because the Aussie GST was deducted, which took my shopping total down to $AU43.73. The shipping was only $AU7.87, so I'm still happy with my purchase.
Just something to remember next time π

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA (1978) $29.98
The Galactica, a futuristic aircraft carrier the size of a small city, careens through a distant starfield followed by a convoy of bizarre space vehicles, all fleeing the destruction of the human race. Led by Commander Adama (Lorne Green), the survivors have started on a journey to a thirteenth sister colony in a distant galaxy star system - a planet called Earth. "Battlestar Galactica" follows these interstellar refugees and their battles with their enemy - the dreaded, lizard-like Cylons. The extraordinary special effects are provided by John Dykstra, an Academy Award-winner for his work on Star Wars.
Which AI was responsible for this turgid hot mess of a summary,
From memory the "Movie" was simply the 2 part pilot episodes of the series, and I'm damn sure there were no dreaded lizards :)
It’s the product overview from JBAU website. Probably taken from the back cover of the case.
Same synopsis on JBNZ website.

The movie was a greatly edited/shortened version of the 3 parter "Saga of a Starworld". The Cylons were originally a Lizard race that got taken over/Destroyed by their own creations...the Mechanical Cylons. Apollo explains it to Boxey in Saga of a Star World and that scene was cut from the "Movie" version. That blurb on the case sounds familiar from many years ago ie back in the 70s. They must have done a cut and paste from what was written back then...a little Lazy i would think.
