Anyone used or get on any experience of such a device being used with a "real" turntable?

If its like the easycap video capture device, then absolute shyte. I had better sound with the lousy onboard sound on my motherboard. Used a cheap DJ mixer as the preamp and results were about as good as expected from vinyl. Still sad that I sold my 1200's when I did, they are way more expensive now they have stopped making them.
