Hi all!

I upgraded (some time ago) to RC3 and I am using the Blue3 skin.
When in Home section of the menu and press "tv" or "videos" or anything else, all the items on the screen "shrink" towards the center of the screen, like a "zoom out". I know this is the intended animation for the skin, but the items do not dissapear, they go smaller, but still visible on the screen. You cannot read the text on the buttons, but they are there. And they sit there for approx 5 sec (or longer), until the live tv picture shows up on the screen.

Does anyone else get the same behaviour of the home screen in RC3?

I get the same thing, I assume it supposed to be smooth but the animation isn't fully optimised yet.

Hey, I had some real strange problem in MP RC3 after applying the latest SVN, I tried rolling back but it didn't help. e.g. When ever I stopped a video or a channel the screen would go blank for a send then come back. Sometimes it didn't come back and I had to kill MP.  Also longer than usual delays on the zoom in/out. Although it seems that when going to My Videos the dely occurs when it's reading the file sytem. It's only very quick for me now.

In the end I deleted (renamed) my mediaportal.xml config file and let MP re-create it. of course I had to go and re-configure all my codes, options etc but after that everything was back to normal!

My MP is doing the same - exit out of movies and sometimes screen goes black and nothin else happens until Ictrl+alt+del.

I note that the CPU is running very high as well when this happens.

I had a similar problem except it would minimize MP and display the desktop. This would happen whenever stopping or switching filters. A clean reinstall of the MP client fixed it and improved the WAF.
Guess I will just have to live with the zoom out then stall animation.

Sometimes, when I play shows from "Recorded tv" and the show ends or I press "stop", I get back to the "recorded tv" list but I cannot select another show for playing. Whatever I select from the list, it does not play. I switch to live tv, and IF it works, then I can go back to "recorded tv" and play another show. I said "if" because sometimes it does not start live tv, it just does nothing whatever I press, until I restart MP.

Other times when I switch to live tv, I get "no audio/video - unable to start graph" error. Some days it is really bad, other times it works smooth for a week. I used to do t/shift on a ram disk and I thought this causes the problem, so I switched t/shifting back onto HDD but it still does it from time to time. It does not appear to be related to the ram disk.

Yea Exactly what I was getting. Have you tried to delete you MediaPortal.xml?
