Thank you for all the help just another question I have a P5KPL-CM with Via HD Audio and a Hauppauge HVR-3000.

When I go to FM radio under Windows 7 Media center just fully crashes wanting to send an error report, this is ever since I took out my Audigy sound card. I had to take the audigy out because my video card needs to use the slot for the fan.

I assume its just the crap onboard sound, and I need something with digital output for my reciever anyway.

I have a spare PCI-X slot behind the video card so I would need a card to fit in there that works under Windows 7 and Media Center.

I really dont need a superior one, just one that works, I mean the reciever will do all the processing anyway wont it?
