I turned on my toshiba laptop.... left it while it was starting up, came back a few minutes later and it had shut down and wont restart. when I press the power button it wont even light up.

I thought it may have been a problem with the ac adaptor because it had a loose wire and so have purchased a new one, but I can still not turn the laptop on.

Any ideas??

Thanks in advance :)

1. Unplug the laptop
2. Take out the battery
3. Hold down the power button for 20 seconds (doing this drains any excess power fron the unit)
4. Put battery back in
5.Plug in laptop
6.Try to turn it on
