Worst offenders are "pseudo-tech people". I had dinner with some folks who still think a) Telecom is launching a GSM network and b) still think 2100Mhz + 900MHz (Vodafone) is better than a single unified 850MHz network...

Oh dear.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

imo its better if there is no fallback network because it puts more pressure on carrier to make sure there is good coverage and that it doesn’t fall over in the first place.

Absolutely... maybe that is based on the 3G with GSm back up that Vodafone has, the amount of times people complain (in the past that is) about always falling back to GSM or 3G being down...

With the lack of signal strength here at home, I have some homework to do deciding to stay with VF or perhaps look at XT for stable service. It will all come down to what VF are doing around here with 900MHz UMTS (if anything). Working from home means cell service is important here also, not just while mobile. When I moved to VF I also had signal strength issues with Telecom, so it's always been an issue.

And moving house isn't an option!
