Huawei owners and engineers would allow a backdoor because if they don't their families go off to be 're-educated' courtesy of the CCP.
And dont forget the system could be designed to leak data through the handset end and thus be much harder to detect than backhaul traffic.
Not being very suspicious of Huawei motives is to be very naive.

I'm very suspicious of Turkey and USA. When a guy called Jamal disappeared, they both knew exactly what happened behind closed doors ...

But we know how dirty the USA government is so no mystery there, thanks Chelsea.
Sorry, I can't argue the USA give us nothing to worry about.

Of course you have irrefutable evidence to back up your claim or was it just paranoia. Hint where are the chipsets and other components made that power their (huawei) competitors products. Wouldn't be China would it.

I don't need evidence to back a possibility. Possibilities exist waiting to be exploited.
It's happened before, only that time it was our 'friends'.
How can you be paranoid about something that is documented to exist?
Hint where are the chipsets and other components made that power their (huawei) competitors products. Wouldn't be China would it.
Why is this relevant?

Well since other competitors products are also made in China with links to the Chinese govt how about banning them to.
It is probably relevant because at any moment production lines can be compromised. By whatever side.

US will refuse to share classified intelligence with any government that allows Huawei networks in the country.
I'd say that by itself is a no brainer that the 5EYE's countries will not use Huawei.

So many analogies i could put to this... All wouldn't be correct to post here.
It's just... daft.

Huawei used to make Cisco gear form them (pre-2000's). They essentially pee'd in the US's coffee when they started selling Cisco compatible cards for their switching gear at a fraction of the price. They've never been forgiven for that.

GCHQ didn't clear Huawei per se, they said the risks can be managed.
The Huawei Cyber Security Evaluation Centre / lab in Oxfordshire is run by Huawei with oversight from GCHQ, which produces an annual report.
