Based on that sort of sync speed you've either got wiring issues or you're way beyond the VDSL2 coverage area. Assuming your wiring isn't the issue you really need to contact your ISP to move back to ADSL2+ to resolve your stability.

Have you logged a fault with it? If nothing else, they should be able to sort out the stability of the connection. Upload speed is suspiciously low too ....

Thanks for the help and advice my modem is about twenty metres away from the splitter Could this be the problem. I might need to get the installer back in again.

Hi, I dont understand why 20m of suitable cable (cat3 or better) between the splitter and modem can cause and issue.

It shouldn't - not to that extent. The run between the master splitter and my modem is about 15 meters (including a join using those gel-filled crimp connectors, terminating to a BT-style jack, and then BT - > RJ11 cable run) and I get 67/10 sync speeds.
