ubergeeknz: There's probably not enough VDSL out there yet for them to have a good handle on estimated speeds. Also VDSL speed can vary depending on how many VDSL connections are sharing the same cable bundle, ADSL less so as it uses lower frequencies.
If you have to run heating in winter, you don’t own enough computers.

I suspect, someone from Telecom might be able to confirm, the site is using a prequal tool to estimate actual speed at that address, rather than using a generic top speed. Hence 11-12 instead of 24-25Mbps.

I know we're all human, and mistakes happen, but on the website of a big corporation like Telecom I know they can do better. I could sit and watch, or I can be proactive in fixing something thats wrong.
