Yes. For your average joe that uses say 180GB a month, this fits perfectly though. They don't need to go through the hassle of a fibre installation and honestly, for a mobile based connection it's a solid price.

in an area that we have 3CA live, It's also a solid preforming product! mitigating the issue of say, being close to the tower and hanging onto L700 which may be being heavily used by a customer far further from the tower.

With this modem you likey would easily hit 300m peaks.
That's kinda the little hiden secret to it.

If latency is your target. It wont beat fibre. Likely not dsl too depending on interleavings.

it's okay, i can dig now, i switched my primary data sims for performance reasons as a consumer.

on a realistic note, i see no reason you wouldn't be able to get a device, would be easier to just order a 1 month and pay for the device.

Vodafone seems to have taken the "thy shall not deploy 700MHz cell sites in urban areas" commitment given their aversion to deploy 4G on low frequency bands.

If the network can handle it - and it sounds like it can - then this is a fantastic offering. I currently have a grandfathered 120Gb wireless plan on Vodafone but they seem to have lost interest in promoting fixed wireless so I may have to look at switching to Spark at some stage.

I am also interested to see how the new modem performs in the real world. I have the B315 on my Vodafone connection but I found that the Wifi regularly jams up, so I had to disable it and plug in an Airport Extreme. Every other aspect of that modem seems fine.

I think the Spark web site needs to be a bit more professional though. I just checked my address and the resulting web page shows both of the following:

So why is Spark's wireless broadband plan $31 more expensive than Skinny's? Lightbox is worth $12.99 a month, and on Spark's website, the 1GB WiFi offer is "free".
