vexxxboy: am i missing something, but is this a chance to get a free phone and usage for a month or is there a catch
langers1972: Hardly risk free when you get 30 days to trial it, what happens if you hit a big outage after 31 days and you're stuck in a 24 month contract.
Typical Telecom claptrap

lol no way they are just supposingly giving you an easy out, your still on a 2 year contract, it isnt a great offer and I cat see many wanting it.

timmyh: This seems to be just the beginning of a new XT push by Telecom. While the 30 day guarantee is good, and the Paul Reynolds fishing ad is OK, they are really just getting things back to where they were before the outages. This is just table stakes.
What's still missing is the reason(s) I should choose XT instead of Voda of 2D. What does XT do better than the other guys? What special product, pricing or offer do they have?
I hope for Telecom's sake that the answer to this is coming soon...

If I lived in a sketchy coverage area, and I had no idea whether this "faster in more places" claim was actually accurate in practice (for me personally), then this would certainly be something I'd take advantage of.
It's not the first time Telecom has done this. Their broadband plans used to have a 30 day trial period also so that if you weren't happy with speeds (for example) you could return your equipment for a full refund (minus over-use charges).?

What part of "Customers choosing to return their phone within the 30 day period will not be asked to pay a disconnection fee." did you miss?
You are really trying hard to find something to complain about, that's all I can see happening.

read from the deal, you can get your monthly fee back. ?the thing you can't get back is the over and above fee occur during that 30 days. ?so if you do return it in 30 days, and you used it within your plan, you do get every penny back.?
