Well, it's easy for me to spot people working for other telcos when they post. Bringing down a discussion about a new service/product/offering does nothing for your company except to put it in a watch list we keep here. And we use the list from time to time.

Basically, yes, we know who you are, you agreed to the FUG and we can send the black helicopters when needed.

Nothing to see here good citizen. Continue your discussion.

Has there been any official announcement and is there any changes to other text extras?

The $6 plan still exists, and it appears that the $18 one has been discontinued.

Edit: Hmm, I can't find the page I was looking at before. I've now found a reference to the $18 option still being available.

Edit 2: This page has a table about half way down, confirming the new service (and with no $18 option).

freitasm: I am asking for people working for competitors to refrain from posting bulls**t here.

Well said..except i had to edit the quote as it came up with:

Sorry. Your post was not accepted due to bad words in it.

Unfortunately, although we can stop you from using the word shit, we cannot stop you from talking it.

Good plan if you text - how about something for calls now?

I think the unlimited text plan is very good value, even by international standards. Add to that Telecom don't charge you $12 at one go, only when you've TXTed up to $12 worth of texts, and you get the remainder free. Brilliant!

I have just signed up to it. It went over quick as the Telecom Automated phone lady said it would take up to 4 hours to go over.

I rang up Tcom today to find out info about switching however couldn't quite get the answer due to lack of English comprehension, poor call quality and perhaps not having the right info available, so I'll ask here.

I'm prepay Text 600 with a few days to go and 100 texts left.  If I was to switch now, before the end of the month, does that mean I get charged another $12, so therefore I should wait till Nov 1?  Or is it ok to switch now?
