energydome: Hiya

bettyboop
my sanyo 7400 is just starting to do this too, I came on here to see if anyone else is having the issue.
I look after my mobile very very well.
The problem is clearly with the phone.
I like the phone too but this really annoys me as it wasn't cheap.
It is both shocking and relieving to find out is isn't just happening to me.

My advice is to EITHER...

Fix it yourself with superglue, before it gets worse

or

Take it to the place of purchase immediately to have it repaired (tell them you want warranty service on it).

Dont do what some others have, and leave it till the whole thing comes off, and then start moaning :-)

MFR001: Think about this... MFR was the only repair agency in NZ for all mobile phones and now theres some competition, you have an option now on which company you prefer to go through.

Sorry Bettyboop I the above statement is incorrect. MFR will no longer accept Sanyos for repair.

Strange - I took my 7400 into MfR in Mount Wellington Wednesday this week and they repaired it while I waited. Where did you get that idea from? Where do I find Telegistics? There is nothing listed in the White Pages?

Oh my god, you mean there are actually customers out there who are happy with MfR I was begining to wonder. Actually thinking about it I cannot think of another technical service company that will repair something while you wait, in fact I needed a Toshiba laptop repaired recently and was told that it would take at least two weeks even if I took it directly to the service agent, when I asked if this was because of a parts issue I was told "no, that is our standard turn around time"

Hi Piri
At this stage only dealers can send phones to Telegistics they will consider dealing with the public some time in the future.

IMHO the worst service aganets in the entire world (I've used them all), would have to be NEXT.

If you want it broken, take it to them!

I didn't say I was happy with MFR. But I have not had a bad experience with them. Some competition will be good for the customers. I think mobiles have taken over some peoples lives. I heard one guy performing while I was there like someone had cut off his right arm. He gave the staff a blast unfairly really because he was the cause of the problem but didn't want to admit it. I thought the counter person was very patient with the guy. He was a pig. Who would want to have to deal with that sort of rubbish. I bet they get a fair bit of it.

I know of an instance of MFR not taking a Sanyo 7400, but also of Sanyos being accepted -after- that. So who knows

Someone might have caught the boss on a bad day...
