old3eyes: Hi Skinny.  How are you progressing with this??    I would sure be nice..

It was added to the play store yesterday :P https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nextbyteapps.selfcare

iOS coming soon

This app is incompatible with all of your devices.

My 2 phones with skinny showing as Telecom New Zealand - UMTS network

Can you provide a bit more information please - which Skinny devices are you referring to?

I see the same error for my HTC One

Just to give you an update - the team are investigating these issues.

openmedia: The current widget just shows a credit balance in $

I'd like to see remaining  minutes / data in a similar manner to the NZ Phone Account Widget

Mine looks like this

That's inside the app, not the widget that you can put on your home screen

Widget ??  Looked thru mine and don't see one..

You should find a widget called 'Skinny' in your phones widgets

You have to resize the widget from a 4x1 to a 4x2 to see more than the $ bal.

Thanks for the tip.

1. It now takes up a rediculous amount of real-estate

2. it still doesn't show me my remaining minutes, seems to think I have unlimited minutes

I suspect it's displaying the unlimited skinny to skinny minutes.

The app is ok, but I don't want to open an app to track my credit, I need a tracker as a widget on the home screen of my phone

Agree - it's useful to have an app, but we should be able to get the critical information in a widget that doesn't take up half a screen. Personally, I'm not too worried about my account balance, and it's certainly doesn't need to be the primary information provided (taking up half the space). It's strange also that it prioritses Skinny>Skinny minutes ahead of Skinny>other network minutes, which is far more important. Given many will have unlimited texts and Skinny>Skinny minutes, the most critical pieices of information are data remaining and Skinny>other network minutes, followed by account balance.

Can the app's developers consider re-prioritising the information on this widget, and ideally designing it to be smaller? Thanks!

could do with some performance optimisation - scrolling / navigation for me is very jerky.

hmmmmm . . .  installed the app a couple of days ago and went through the sms verification setup.
Today got a notification from the app that my account had been topped up. Clicked the notification which loaded teh app which then took me through the account set-up / text notification again.
Couple of hours later got another app notification that my combo is about to renew. Clicked the notification and the app opened up but got stuck at "just loading the app"
Left it for about ten minutes but no progress so killed the app and restarted manually and still getting the "just loading the app"

Think I might need to kill this and just return to using the website.

The app should still be in beta. I have a monthly combo recurring. Decided to add the $8 weekly data addon through the app. It worked sweet. Except; there was no notification, and there is no way through the app to stop it recurring. I had to use the mobile website to stop it recurring.
