Hi Skinny peoples...

Just wondering if you guys plan on delivering an iOS/android app for Skinny any time soon (like TNZ and Vodafone do)?

The USSD menu is functional, but soooo 20th century laughing

Just wondering (hoping)...

Hi

It is certainly on our roadmap but I can't give you a date when they will be available.

Cheers

Paul.

There's an android app called NZ Phone Accounts widget, it does what it says on the tin. Displays your phone account info in a widget. It has good support from the dev, and basic support for adding addons to your plan and voucher topup.

Ive made an app based on their mobile site, it saves your details on your device so you dont have to login every time. Give it a go if you like, its not on the play store so you will have to install the APK. http://skinny.blake.org.nz

Thanks guys. Our devices are all iOS. I'd prefer to use a first party app for checking my usage.

I struggle with the Skinny website on iOS. Frankly it's a PITA.
My wife was distraught just a couple of days ago, could not top up as the credit card was not registered, and couldn't register the card without making a payment, with that same card.
New house has no voda/2degrees service, would prefer to change to telecom if I could get the same deal.

Oh, also, how the hell do you buy the new $30 combo. It doesn't seem to appear as an option!

Cheers,
Joseph

Glad you like it:) I hope to perfect it more and the release it to the play store if skinny doesn't make their own app before it.
You have to enter your password right when you first open the app otherwise you need to press menu and go into settings and do it again. And I promise your info goes no where else but to skinny

We have a fix for storing a credit card coming soon.

As others have mentioned the $30 Combo is half price until the end of June.

I'm always keen to hear of any other frustrations people have - a lot of the changes we make are based on customer feedback.  Feel free to PM me if you prefer.

Stupid question time, the $15 offer for BigData is only for this month I assume.

This time next month I'll be paying $30 again, is that right ? It's not going to be $15 as long as I keep it ticking over every month is it ?

Thanks
