pjamieson: I've heard Telecom are counting down to Spark on their Intranet with all the old Commercials.

I like the SPOT ones...  http://www.nzonscreen.com/title/spot-telecom-commercials-1991

And Spot wasn't even a Kiwi dog but an Ozzy one..

Took me yonks to recognise the relationship between SPOT codes and Spot the dog. "One of the quality Services and Products of Telecom." Clever.

Love those old ads.

There is a cool count down which has varying historical company stories each day until the launch.

I've seen the new logo. Looks pretty meh, to be honest it doesn't strike me as having had much thought gone into it. The typeface looks amateurish.
