Received router today, plug and play and working 100% with my existing infrastructure.

So really my order was very, very fast compared with some.

  • 23 October: Order placed
  • 16 November: Scoping visit
  • 24 November: Outside install
  • 3 December: Inside install
  • 7 December: Received router, all finished.

I am still waiting for Spark to submit an "Intact" UFB order thru to Chorus. Unfortunately the CSR's kept making mistakes with my order and put thru a DSL order instead of an Intact UFB order since i already have Fibre installed but no ISP to connect to. This was supposed to have been done on Friday, then when i called yesterday it still wasn't and the order was being edited / submitted to Chorus. Chorus have yet to receive any information / request from Spark and so they can't do anything.

Trying to get hold of the Fibre flight team but thats a 4 hour wait time!! If they (Spark) had submitted my UFB Intact order on Friday i could have been up and running with Fibre instead of waiting for DSL to be connected / installed.

How long does it take for Spark to submit an order thru to Chorus?
