I finally found a hotspot earlier today, but clicking 'connect' didn't work - the networked saved to my wifi list but wouldn't connect at all.

staticnz: And with the voucher code you won't even need to enter a credit card when signing up to Lightbox

For normal (paid) LB accounts you need to enter valid card info before you can watch content. If you don't enter a voucher code when you first sign up, LB assumes you're signing up for a normal account. You can still apply a voucher after creating a normal account and get whatever benefits it provides.

And now we see why they did it (beyond retention) ...

My Motger in Law just rang up saying she's 'out of data' as she's on a seriously limited 40Gb plan that's always had 20Gb spare and never seemed worth increasing. She's gotten into some decent shows and become a self-taught binge-watcher and clocked her cap with 2 weeks to go 😂

Spark are about to make more than their $12.99 LB fee from her upgrading her data package, and she's loving being able to watch when she wants to (she works shifts) so a win/win really 😆

She's very nice to me, even shared the lightbox login ;)
