..hmmm where did that US flag next to my last posting come from? My profile (correctly) says I am an NZ Telecom user.. not overseas.

The flag shows "where" you were when posting. Are you using a mobile connection (CDMA) to post? It seems the IP addresses handed out are part of a US-assigned range.

Yes it is week 48 this week...

I still think you guy's will find it's an Outlook/Microsoft Office issue and not your PC suite that's the problem... Since it's happenign to several people with Sony Ericsson's too, and I get the problem in Outlook 2003 without even getting to my phone I'm pretty sure it's Outlook tagging the raw date/TZ info incorrectly...

Well, if it is not a PC suite problem, how does one fix the outlook? There have been postings suggesting there are known problems if you are using certain Australian time zones (which I am not) but no solution, and someone has pointed out (correctly) that there is an additional setup point in the Outlook 2003 calendar, but this has been checked, and is set correctly by default.

We await this vaguely promised PC Suite 6.7 to see, but if anyone has another suggestion, fire ahead.

- and, yes I am positing through a CDMA dot surfer card, hence the unusual US flag – strange eh?

Yes, the CDMA Ip Range is still registered as America. I believe it was originally one of the ranges that was used for CDPD in NZ. They've put in reverse DNS lookups on the IP ranges they're using now (166.179-xxx-xxx.jamamobile.xtra.co.nz), but the actual range itself is still regstered as America, hence our fun with flags. : )

Same problem since daylight saving changed. Using Outlook 2003, Exchange 2000, Nokia PC suite 6.5.13. using Bluetooth. Noticed today after synchronising that Xmas day has now moved to 24 Dec and Boxing day to 26?

No good news but I did find this on Nokias own forum site. Imagine if you had your companies fleet of mobiles experiencing this issue. Its pretty widespread.

I'm still hanging for the fix myself, but I see someone on this thread is using PC Suite 5.5 with success, I may well try that, although bluetooth connectivity was very dodgy back then.

I had better correct myself, I will be going back to PC Suite 5.22. Not 5.5.

I have read the link http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/forum/showthread.php?t=69710 and it advises that Nokia PC Suite 6.7 will resolve the issue. However since we are now in to the 2nd month of daylight savings a firm release date would be nice.!

Nothing earlier than version 6.5 will work with my phone, the 6255, so I have to wait for the new release.

Two of my work colleagues that also had this problem have since replaced their phones primarily because of this issue. Maybe that's the smarter solution. :)
