Just went down there and most of them only found out about it by the advertising that went around the streets today told the telecome guy they were skipping work to sit in line, don't know about the first person in line as he bought some entertainment with him.

None of them have any blankets etc so guess they will be calling some favours from flatmates.

Yea the pressure was getting too much. Might go down at some stage before 7.30 could do with a headset

To be fair, for $1000 plus a free phone, it'd be worth it to stand out there.

I'll wander past on the way to work and will see how bad things are, if it looks like I can be in & out in under an hour and a half, I'll probably hang around so I can get rid of my existing POS phone.

I'll have a look in about 20mins on the way home and see if there's anyone already waiting there :) No doubt there will be the requisite TV cameras there sometime this evening.

EDIT: 7 people in line at Wellington as of 5:05 apparently. Think I might leave it until next week, guessing they won't be activating things on Saturday?

Hey a fellow Feverite. Yea they sure did. They even supplied us with power so we can have a heater and internet access. These guys sure know how to do a launch.
