Yeah it is...(lol) Since you get $24 credit from a $20 topup
Don't you mean $25, lol. And that can get you 2 months of Non Stop Txt for virtually $10 a month with $1 extra for things like a day of mobile bb. Yay.
I think telecom should remove the extra credit from topups and use that to make the plans a bit cheaper. Oh and can you topup with only $10 on XT?
I would say that Telecom would only enforce the fair use policy only if someone txts too much off net. On net would most proberly not be monitored not as much.
from what ive herd that taken the top 5 % of txters and doubled that amount and then doubled it again and then added some. so i rekon more than 6000, someone should try.
Yeah, someone should purposely try to get disconnected... Sounds like an intelligent idea to me!
Why are people trying to find "the limit" - the reason that Telecom hasn't stated a limit is so people won't go finding one.
To put it another way, if there was a stated limit, people would intentionally reach it. By not stating it, the chance of people abusing the service is far lower.
you guys have been succesfully side tracked by the " unlimited " txting thing. the real point is that telecom are getting $12 from every user for the first 60 txts to 027 numbers .so untill 60 txts to 027 have been sent there is no unlimited txting. txting to 027 basicaly cost tnz nothing . also if a voucher is purchased ($20 minimum )then there is always going to be a surplus on the a/c which will encourage more voice calls, again more income . so while txting to 021 and 022 etc would appear free tnz are getting on average $20/month from every user up front . money for jam really,
[rant] Don't you realise that for every $20 topup you get $5 extra credit. This means you have $25 in your account. Now Non Stop Text x2 months costs = $24. So $20 can last you for 2 months (but you only get $1 extra). I am currently using Non Stop Text using a topup from last month that I used Non Stop Text in. Also the first 60 txts are to any network. They are just so if you have less than $12 in your account you can still use the plan, but only 60 txts of it until you topup. Their is unlimited txting if you havn't used 60 txts (unless you have less than $12 in your account). So you are wrong! [/rant]
Now that I have that off my chest who is going to volunteer to try and find the limit? I might, just don't want my plan removed quite early in the month. I will think about it.
