Yes - telecom seems to have a wide interpretation of "soon" - that has been up there for a while now...

Let's hope it's not the same as Sky TV's Andoid app coming "soon"

Well the Sky TV Android app made it but still no S2 ICS upgrade from Telecom, am beginning to wonder what they mean by 'soon'

Samsung said they would upgrade all variants of the S2 before the launch of the S3.. Which means Telecom must have the update by now, but likely it will be a few months before it's out for users.

Got the update via the Chech Fus Downloader in test Kies mode, which checks to see if there any new firmwares ready to be sent.

This is the real deal. XT logo on start up.. Naturally Touchwiz 4 runs on top. Navigation around the phone is smooth.

Usually run custom but happy to run the new stock firmware through it's pace and first impressions are all nice.

Might quickly put up a video shortly if I can :-)

Got my ICS i9100T ICS update here too - a few nice changes :)

Despite a complete lack of noise from Telecom regarding the update, and step by step updates from JohnR on the Vodafone forum, has Telecom beaten Vodafone to the ICS update?

Got my update through Kies last night aswell. Phone is a Telecom Galaxy S2 I9100T but I am on a Vodafone contract/sim (seems irrelevant, only the phone model seems to matter). Checked to see if it was available through the phone menu options but nope. Plugged in and checked Kies and there it is. Update took all of 15 minutes.

Good first impressions with font changes, menu changes and changes to the unlock pattern screen. Swipe feature in contacts is awesome. New widgets, new google search, new and awesome power saving toolbar. some bookmark thing I can't figure out yet. And of course bug fixes and speed improvements. Only annoyance found is that I used to be able to tap the top bar on v2.3.3 (where the time is) and it would show the date, again very minor but it was convenient.

Also, here's a picture from Kies showing version info:
