I honestly can't say that I like it. Looks too long... More like a remote than a phone.

Well i saw this phone in the telecom pamphlet thingy and was like ohh a kool phone so went on the telecom site to see more about it and yeah its on there and stuff but still don't know much about it so i might go on the nokia site and read about it yes that is a good idea which i just thought of haha. So anyhow, i thought i would come on here to geekzone haha funny name and see what people had to say about it here and although there is a forum on it there is still very little replys, none in fact however this is the first one which is good that is unless someone posts and beats me in which case i would not really care so if you want to do that please feel free. I like nokia phones due to their good features however i like fliptops which for me is a definate downfall with this phone. So i do not think i will buy it just yet, not that i can afforf it right now regardless of the free printer as advertised by telecom. Well thats my two cents, this however is not Kent Brockman. Laters and thank you everybody, Merry Christmas especially the office nparty and a happy new year!

Remote looking alright - nokia always made in my view ugly CDMA phones

Nokia 6255's dimensions
  • Volume: 104 cc
  • Weight: 126 g
  • Length: 87.3 mm
  • Width 47.4 mm
  • Thickness: 27 mm
Nokia 6275's dimensions

  • Volume: 72 cc
  • Weight: 105 g
  • Length: 109 mm
  • Width: 42.8 mm
  • Thickness (max): 17.2 mm
  • Lighter and thiner than the 6255 - looking forward to a play with one tomorrow

Not sure why this would replace the 6265, it was a very good phone and much nicer looking than this one.

I had a play with this today, I like it.
Has all the nice stuff the 6265 had and is much nicer to use and much more stylish, parts are chromed silver. Currently i like the design and look better than any nokia, even the GSM versions

The size is that of a 6235 and it's not as long as you think as it has silver metal edging which does not show up, yes it looks like an particular Alcatel, but they were very nice phones, you can't knock them!

The Keypad is way better, the SPEED of the UI is much improved, it feels like it was made from scratch, not botched off some GSM design like the 6265 was.
The microSD card is under the battery though, annoying and it uses the stupid tiny charger-jack.... Full review to come. (i have some "banked" currently.

320x240, and it Looks gorgeous. The camera seems to be improved too, I'll look at it in more details tomorrow.

The best pics so far are probably at the FCC Website...

    https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/oet/cf/eas/reports/GenericSearch.cfm

    The id is:

    QMN
    RM-154

I can't say the same for the 6235 direct replacement though, That one is just a re-hash of old technology with an only average display and comes without a camera, groan.

Not a bad phone. Got mine on charge at the moment. This unit also ships with the HP photosmart A516 and a HP photosmart carry case. In all a very nice package. My only grump is that it doesn't ship with a CA-53 cable. In other words, when you want to use the printer you have to remove the micro SD (not supplied) from under the battery and throw it into the adaptor before you can insert it into the printer.
Also, there is no access to the telecom music download store and no included headset. It seems to be targeted more as a business phone. Time to check out how well bluetooth holds up it....

Digitamax is 21c per print at the moment....

Just found the USB data cable. It's located in the side pocket of the photosmart carry case. This deal is getting better & better.

Wow $3 a print is pricey - is the quality any good?
