Do telecom have an app yet for ipads or iphones? My parents have an ipad with a telecom prepay sim for data, but as ipads don't accept txt messages, they never know when they need to top it up, and going to the website isn't easy as they never know their login to check it. I see other providers like vodafone have quite a good app, at least for android, which allows a widget show to show the balance, and you just tap it to view things like expiry dates, no login required. Does telecom have anything for ios which lets you go to the app and find full account info and expiry dates? I just don't want to see it expire and then them lose their credit, because telecom don't have an app to make it easy for them. I did setup a shortcut to the account webpage, but think they have changed the system since then, as it no longer works. They can't seem to login anymore anyway, as it now needs appears to need them to register again, and enter a telecom number, but as it is a  prepay number there is no account number.

This is good to here! It's funny that 2degrees have one and they aren't even an official carrier :-P

On a side note, what would Telecom have to do to add visual voice mail? Why does Apple not force carriers to have this feature when it was such a big deal with the original iPhone?

iPhone, Android, any other smartphone: http://m.telecom.co.nz/yt
Tablets, Laptops, anything else with a large screen: http://telecom.co.nz/ytmobile

With any of these, access the URL over 3G to log in automagically, you can topup, buy and manage extras etc from either one of these. Add as a homescreen shortcut on the iPad or iPhone to create a webapp.

Surprisingly my Xperia Z always required me to enter my details automatically on their mobile accounts page, while the iPhone 5 automatically logs in with 3G.

Usually you should only have to do this if your on WiFi and then only press the login icon.  On 3G it should be automatic..
