Noticed this morning on the Play Store that Telecom have finally launched a Android app! (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nz.co.telecom.smartphone.android)

Its a lot nicer then the smartphone webapp and really snappy as well! I haven't seen anything on their twitter feed about it launching which is odd.

Works perfectly on my pay monthly account and after registering logs me in automatically on WiFi unlike the webapp.

WOW windows phone app too, great job telecom!!

Edit: ahh well after using it is seems this is an old one and is just a shortcut to the telecom website, but a step in the right direction, Will there be an app coming to windows phone, with the number of WP telecom have in their inventory a native app would be great.

I don't think there was a Windows Phone version of it..... Only Android and iOS. No immediate plans for a Windows Phone app from what I understand, unless all of a sudden lots of them get sold :)

Still got the UK Play store on my phone so I can't see the app.. Used the URL to request it via a web browser.

Region/country locking on the play store is such a pain

Generally known online as OpenMedia, now working for Red Hat APAC as a Technology Evangelist and Portfolio Architect. Still playing with MythTV and digital media on the side.
