Yes, there are issues atm but haven't seen anything directly from Telecom yet.

I can't connect via mobile data (3G or 4G) to anything - not too bad as I'm in range of wifi at present, but it was a pita a few minutes ago.

Should be resolved now. Let me know if it's still not working and perhaps give your phone a restart / airplane mode just in case.

Still a problem in Nelson - has been down since approx 1pm just doesn't work at all 3G data that is

http://www.stuff.co.nz/technology/digital-living/30012820/fault-hits-telecoms-mobile-networks

Very frustrating esp. when they don't even have a voice msg to advise of issues on their help lines. I just brought a handset to use as a hotspot whilst on holiday

I wonder if it will be on the TV news ?

Still down in Christchurch.

I don't use the net on my phone often, when I do about 1/3 of the time I just get "network error" anyway so I was surprised to see that this is abnormal.

You guys have been saying it was a mobile data fault... then why did I have no service full stop (calling texting data) on and off for a while :/ Can't believe its the 'south of taupo' fault AGAIN :/ Can we swap networks with north of taupo so the Aucklanders can have a turn? Then when they start complaining then maybe it'll get fixed once and for all

If you have to run heating in winter, you don’t own enough computers.

If this is the first world then why are our cellular networks so dodgy?

Working again in Christchurch, fyi. [edit]Spoke too soon. [edit2] And now the status is set to all clear, but it's not working...
