My fiber connection to FTP box (seedbox) has always maxed out at 3.7MB/s download speed but over the past few days it seems to be pretty slow at around 600KB/s during the day.
I've run speed test and im getting 30/10 speed from the spark speedtest site but seedbox seems to be limited now.
I contacted seedbox and they said everything is normal on their end.

Im on the spark 30/10 500GB plan.

If you are posting regarding DSL speeds please check that

- you have reset your modem and router

- your PC (or other PCs in your LAN) is not downloading large files when you are testing

- you are not being throttled by your ISP due to going over the monthly cap

Most of the problems with speed are likely to be related to internal wiring issues. Read this discussion to find out more about this. Your ISP is not intentionally slowing you down today (unless you are on a managed plan). Also if this is the school holidays it's likely you will notice slower than usual speed due to more users online.

A master splitter is required for VDSL2 and in most cases will improve speeds on DSL connections. Regular disconnections can be a monitored alarm or a set top box trying to connect. If there's an alarm connected to your line even if you don't have an alarm contract it may still try to connect so it's worth checking.

Where is your seedbox hosted? Have you tried a known-good local FTP server (say, one of the various linux distro mirrors) to see what speeds you get as a comparison?

You could also a try an ftp client that supports multithreaded\segnmented downloads.

Always have been using multithreaded/ segmented download client.
I used to get full speed at all hours but now during the day it seems to be stuck at 600KB/s. Only speed to my whatbox FTP has been slow, everything else is fine.

In the evening (6pm ish) it returns to full speed again.
