So excited, 4G is live in Thames, I wonder if this is apart of a wider rural 4G Spark Network expansion, or is it just Thames? i.e Using the Spectrum from TV Digital Switch over.

Anyone else notice this?

PS I have the HTC One M8 Spark version.

A few Waikato / Bay Of Plenty sites appear to have gone live recently. Pretty sure they are mostly the 700mhz (Spectrum from TV Digital Switch over) you mention. Many more have appeared with a license in RSM so one would presume would soon be live.

According to the RSM database it is indeed 700 MHz.

Now the 4G 700band is getting turned on I wonder if it will effect our church wireless mic systems. We received a letter from a sound company saying our digital wireless mic systems ( common wireless mic btw )  will start picking up interface when the bandwidth for 4g was being enabled.

From the 11th of March next year if your mic is in the 698-806 MHz range you won't be able to use it.

Tirau is live as well.
Spark's Waikato LTE 700 roll out has certainly gathered steam.
