I have a customer who decided, at the suggestion of a Spark Business rep, to transfer all their phone & internet services from Orcon to Spark.

They called me when their e-mail stopped.  Now it seems their domain name has moved to Spark (or Melbourne IT) and has a status of "pending release".  The DNS is not working as a DNS lookup shows no records.

Spark support say they have escalated the issue to Melbourne IT, whose support appears to be based in the US, but it's been more than 4 business days now (6 days if you include the weekend)  and repeated calls have got us nowhere.

I would like to obtain the UDAI and transfer the domain name to Metaname where I can easily manage the DNS but Spark say they can't generate the UDAI while the domain has a "pending release" status.

If there's any possibility that one of the Spark people here are able to lend a hand with this it would be greatly appreciated.
