Suck thing is that I'm back to the Stone Age,no internet,no Netflix and I can't even call up for a pizza since spark cut my copper line and switched my phone to fibre!!!

Service was restored around midnight last night.  If your service is still not working please make sure you restart everything, and if no joy, give us a call!

Need to get fiber first before I can join the rest and complain.

Instead I will stick with complaining about HFC performance...   :-)

It was a Fibre cut.
Please rest assured Spark has appropriate actions underway to ensure that we should not see a repeat of this.

Wasn't aware Riccarton was no longer part of Christchurch? Learn something new everyday.

Considering all the issues Fibre avoids over ADSL (poor line quality, weather, dodgy connections etc) I think the occasional drop of service is a fair trade off (not that I still wouldn't be standing by the modem the whole time offering a small prayer mind you).

Don't want to sound pedantic but does the pizza place not have an 0800?

Put down the pitchforks, I do not have any specific details around the Fibre cut. ;)
