Higher pings than normal For last couple of days. Can anyone tell me if there something wrong with this picture tokyo to hong kong then back to tokyo? is that the problem or new york? any ideas on how to go about getting this fixed .Thx in advance
Ping is normally 270ms not 440ms

A lot of routes through Japan are not very well optimized. Certain IP ranges are potentially problematic/deprioritized, I have similar problems with the Square Enix servers in Japan, where certain IP ranges gain an extra 100-150ms. They can't do much about it, since the hops that are having the issue are past global gateway. Other than that, it could just be temporary problems with peering partners, so you might need to wait it out until they are fixed.
