Received a phone call from Spark earlier today trying to discuss my current plan (and try upsell me broadband foot-in-mouth)

Questioned if there is any new plans with more data coming soon and he stated they are releasing, as of tomorrow.

The $79.99 plan is increasing its data from 5GB to 7.5GB (So an extra 2.5gb per month) and from the sounds of it a couple of the other plans are increasing or changing as well (I think theres a $99 plan to come out - I could be wrong with that)

Will be interesting to see what the changes are on the other plans, but good to see Spark stepping up!

I second that. The $59 at the moment is slightly to expensive for not enough data. Hopefully they will bridge that gap with 5GB

Came across this from Skinny today. Amazing deals.

They will all be competing for new iPhone 7 customers soon so hopefully that will bring some great plans for consumers.

Damn, I'd love to see those plans come to Spark!

Spark's "Plans and Pricing" page is now offline. I was trying to note down the old prices but oh well.

I'll be at work all night with plenty of downtime so will be refreshing Spark's site throughout the night... almost as exciting as a new iPhone release undecided

Ok they are released

All the plans now get lightbox added, $59 plan has gone up to 4gigs of data (which is nice).  I am more happy about the lightbox being added however :)

Once my extra 2.5gigs each month runs out I might even jump to the $79 plan (7.5gigs)

I do have to say it's snotting the likes of vodafone when all the extras you now get from spark over vodafone.  The plans tend to end up very close but with the adding of the spotify and lightbox (and the cheaper movie tickets) it now really makes spark stand out.

The only real thing that is still a bit of a bummer is roaming on spark.

Well they seem competitive enough for me to stay with them when my contract expires in October. Spotify Premium, Lightbox and 4gb of data for $60 is pretty good.

hmmmm, that does change things.

I have crap Vodafone coverage at home but spark is great, now that there are plans with calls to Aussie included this does open up the door.

I have been with Vodafone for 15 years + but the change is now viable.

Wonder what rebate will be given on the $79.00 plan?

Do they do a share plan like Vodafone do?

I think they do have shared plans but they cost more than the standard ones, the site is still down so can't check

I could be wrong but it looks like they are not giving any phone rebate on anything less than the $99

Phone rebates are long gone really, sure you get them but you need to be on a 24 month contract on a higher plan that does not offer as much.

Just do interest free payments on the phone you want over 24 months.  the difference in plan price will cover the sub you would have got anyway
