Been planning a move to a new rental property for the last 2 weeks, checking my Fiber options (It already had it installed). I initially went with another provider but they had problems with my signup (non technical and totally random). Went back to the Spark address checker to place an order with them and now all of a sudden Spark's (and just Spark's) Fiber checker seemingly isnt working, its recommending 4G Wireless!

Whats even more stupid is the current connection appears to be with Spark Fiber, Im on it right now as the previous tenants left their Modem and Router behind. Whats wrong with the checker and how quickly can I just get this signed over to me (and upgraded to 900Mb/s+)?

Doesn't seem to be isolated - just checked an address and it's suggesting VDSL (if using over 120GB/month, 4G wireless if using less than 120GB/month) for an address which has Fibre...

Can you dm me the exact address you are entering.

At a guess, the fibre will be at like "flat 1"... Address or number/flat.

Sometimes this isn't totally clear as a customer. Spark don't massage or assume the address, as that can easily end up with the wrong expereriance for installation or in your case activation.

Not the case at all.

Thanks for the tag Jase, Is a valid issue. Appears to be a failure on the communication with Chorus B2B.

It's now with the right teams to Investigate further.

@kodachrome happy to ensure your order is ran soon as this is fixed, apologies for the issues your facing, that isnt normal.

As mentioned if you flick me your address i can look into it deeper. I suspect the old Customer will want their modem back.. You may also be seeing delays in Fibre order for Gbit. Chorus dont allow gbit on secondary ports.

For what it's worth, I can't talk to Chorus B2B either!

....too lazy to pull up a shell to see the error code... hopefully working by tomorrow!

Good to know.

I didn't want to explicitly call out chorus side without validation from their team...
