hmmm where to start ok

well i was on trademe.co.nz today just having a browse and what should i find but someone trying to sell their go large plan for two grand thats right you did read $2000 what i would like to know is can they do this

No it will be in Telecom's T&C that you cannot sell your account. It will also be in Trademe's T&C that you cannt sell accounts like this. The auction definitely won't go through, not that its going to get any bids anyway; you would have to be incredibly stupid to bid $2000 for go large.

well thats pretty much what i thought about it too and said so in the ask the seller a question section you want to know what he replied to me was its just some paper work lol the ignoance of some people i also mentioned he should contact telecom/xtra to find out for sure.. i dunno maybe i should report it to trademe actually i think i will right now

there are hundreds of phantom bidders and phantom auctions at any time.
remember the paper clip that was sold that made it onto 3 news?

well certainly a good response from trademe. thats the story normaly they don't mess about with things like this not good for business
