I purchased a new XT handset and a SIM card. At first, things worked fine, but after popping in a 2 Degrees SIM the XT SIM no longer works in the phone, showing a "Invalid (u)SIM". I can't make any calls, txt, etc. And havn't been asked for a PUK or anything like that. The 2 Degrees SIM works perfectly though.


If it means anything, the XT SIM's number was in the process of being replaced with my old CDMA's number. I've been on the phone with Telecom assistants who claimed the SIM was disactivated and reactivating would take "4-8 hours". It's been much longer than that, so I'm wondering if my SIM is faulty or if it's something else?
