I purchased a new XT handset and a SIM card. At first, things worked fine, but after popping in a 2 Degrees SIM the XT SIM no longer works in the phone, showing a "Invalid (u)SIM". I can't make any calls, txt, etc. And havn't been asked for a PUK or anything like that. The 2 Degrees SIM works perfectly though.

If it means anything, the XT SIM's number was in the process of being replaced with my old CDMA's number. I've been on the phone with Telecom assistants who claimed the SIM was disactivated and reactivating would take "4-8 hours". It's been much longer than that, so I'm wondering if my SIM is faulty or if it's something else?

Thanks in advance!

My R6 will often (as in half a dozen times) come up on the screen invalid sim, so i have to take it out, put it back in, turn off and on half a dozen times, wait a while before it works again....

If you're having problems with the handsets you can take them back into the store and have a chat to someone
