I have bought one of these, great phone, so like an I Phone, but it seems to have a prob when connected via the WI FI, connect fine to networks and surfs for a while then freezes solid, remove battery to fix, also does it if you are connected but not browsing for a while the try to it freezes, have tried DHCP and Static IP, no luck, Dont seem to find anything about it on the net and Telecom say they are unaware of the prob? any ideas?
mine seems to work fine on wifi, how ever i am searching for applications to add and cant find much any ideas? and whilst i am at it i cant seem to find a way to conect to my lapptop, installed the software as instructed but everytime i conect the phone it says wait for app to load then nothing happens?? any idears or any one know what/where i should delete files to reinstall?? thanks in advance
Is your wifi set as ad hoc or a router ?, this makes a difference apparently, To get the phone to connect to the laptop you have to install the Sync program and drivers, then when it is happy the phone is installed go to My computer and look for the phone in the list of drives, click on it and then click on usbautorun.exe to make it go, or alternatively set auto play on so it pops up on the screen with the prompt to run it, this will start the program and find the phone. very obscure!!!!
doing every thing as instructed! howevver cant find the setting for wifi to be ad hoc or router? and wich should it be? lol and dose that matter if i am comecting via cable?
it on usb conection mode pc sync, and if whilst conected i swithch to mass storage it then gives a full list of folders howevver non of my pics a are ther? and all folders are empty!
