If I try to login to "Your Telecom" to check my usage, this is what happens:

No such Organization found.

Return to Login page

It has been like this since last night.  Will somebody fix it soon, PLEASE!!!

Here is the URL I am using for access:  http://yt.telecom.co.nz/mobile/

It always worked before, but not for the past 16 hours or so.

It's working for me on the phone itself. I can try it via tethering a little later; I'm in the middle of a big download at the moment so can't switch over.

Edit: I'm getting the same error as you when tethering.

A couple of questions;
1. Is this still happening
2. Your phone number
3. your device make/model

If this is still happeneing and you're serious about getting this resolved them PM me with some further details.

Oops, this was meant to be a PM, but I guess it doesn't matter:

Unfortunately the PDA portal doesn't work either Neal.

The "Your Telecom FREE" link takes me to exactly the same place as I was going before :(

My father visited last night with his laptop and MF626. We had exactly the same problem with that, although it did let us into the Usage Meter just once.

Now I need to topup his account as well, and I can't do that either.

It would be really nice if this could be fixed today :)

After many tries, I managed to get into the Usage Meter for just long enough to topup my account. Just as well because the credit was down to $1.79.

But now I still need to topup my father's account, and I cannot get in again. I am getting this error message:

An internal authentication error has occurred.
Contact your system administrator.
Return to Login page

Then if I try again, I get this message:

No such Organization found.
Return to Login page

This is just so bl00dy annoying!!!

This morning I have noticed that the connection "stalls" are back too...

I am in the middle of a page load and then it stops. For about 15 minutes I could not get a connection at all in spite of numerous attempts.

XT Mobile Data is really starting to piss me off. I really cannot rely on it at all, whereas CDMA was rock solid. However, I can no longer use my CDMA card because I have replaced my laptop.

So I'm caught between a rock and a hard place. Do I:

- Buy a Vodem and go back to the dark side :P
- Pay 50c per MB on 2degrees
- Look around for an old T-Stick device on CDMA

I've got to do something because I am just about out of patience with XT Mobile Data. It was touted as the be-all and end-all, faster in more places, yada, yada, yada.

But in terms of reliability, it just doesn't cut it. I have had more problems with XT Mobile Data in just over 2 months than I ever had with anything else.

Just to re-iterate:

- I am in an inner-city Auckland suburb, less than 2km from the cell tower.
- Signal strength is a full 5 bars
- Device type is MF636
- YES, I have rebooted my laptop

Your Telecom is working for me - on my laptop. Tried three different numbers I have here (one for voice + data and other two for data only)...

If you can tether your mobile device, connect your laptop through Telecom XT, and open the Your Telecom link in Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. If you try Firefox you get the "No such Organization found" error.

This tells me there's a browser problem somewhere - on your devices?

Working fine on my PC here and via my mobile at the moment, and my mobile signal at home is quite poor.

freitasm: Your Telecom is working for me - on my laptop. Tried three different numbers I have here (one for voice + data and other two for data only)...

Thanks very much for testing Mauricio.  Then it is something on my system which is running Vista, but Behodar above reported the same issue, and my father's laptop (running XP) also had the same issue.

freitasm: If you can tether your mobile device...

Actually, it's very difficult for me to "un-tether" my device because it's a data card  :)

freitasm: ...connect your laptop through Telecom XT, and open the Your Telecom link in Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. If you try Firefox you get the "No such Organization found" error.

You made a good point there, I hadn't thought of a browser issue because Firefox has been working with Your Telecom up until 2 days ago.

So ... I tried IE8.  And guess what?  Exactly the same problem!

freitasm: This tells me there's a browser problem somewhere - on your devices?

So, it was a good thought, but I have eliminated the possibility of a browser issue.

As a precaution, I cleared the browser cache, but it didn't make any difference.  And then there's still the issue of why I was able to login just for a short time to topup my account, but now cannot get in again.

It's very puzzling indeed...

P.S.  Just saw your post Neal.  Thanks very much for your help.

Yep, I had the same issue when tethering. I'm using Safari on a Mac, but can't retest at the moment.

Hadn't noticed the device (it wasn't in the first post). Hadn't noticed you used a laptop browser (nowhere in the thread), so lack of information is bad (that's why we ask for more info to start with - perhaps in the first post.

Regardless - what APN are you using? The default internet.telecom.co.nz or someting else? Have you added/changed anything in your antivirus lately? Or software firewall?

Has Telecom confirmed it's a problem on their side?

Yes, it's the default.  I never changed anything.  I just checked and the APN shows as internet.telecom.co.nz

freitasm: Have you added/changed anything in your antivirus lately? Or software firewall?

I don't run anti-virus as such.  Just use MalwareBytes to do a scan every so often.  Did a Full Scan a few days ago and it never found anything.  Am just using the Vista Firewall in "Public" mode for best security.

Big Ups to various people from Telecom who solved this problem for me.

And to Mauricio for suggesting a browser issue. While none of the suggestions were the complete answer, I now have a workaround:

- Use this URL to access Your Telecom from a Data Card or Tethered Device: http://www.telecom.co.nz/mbbmeter

- And make sure you use IE8, not Firefox!!!

It is very strange why Firefox has always worked perfectly for me until 2 days ago. But whatever, IE8 gets the job done for now. No doubt the access from Firefox will be restored eventually, but for now it doesn't matter.

My account is topped up, and so is my father's, so everybody is happy...

I've just had a chance to retry this, and the problem is still happening for me.

I'm using a Sony Ericsson W705a, tethered to my laptop, which is running Safari 4.0.4 on OS X 10.6.2. I'm getting the error by navigating to http://pdaportal.telecom.co.nz and clicking on the "Your Telecom - FREE" link. It used to work (it'd ask me to log in), but is now giving me the "no such organisation" error without prompting me for my number and password.

As mentioned I'm on a Mac, so I can't try using IE 8. Neal, should I PM you too or is Grant's sufficient?

Edit: Grant's http://www.telecom.co.nz/mbbmeter workaround isn't working for me either, presumably because I'm using Safari.
