The joys (not) of using CSS and flowing designs... I will see with Phil if he can make it a fixed width there.

The NZ Domain name advert is definitely a culprit. If I don't maximise the window it will take over the geekzone title space.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

No, it's not. Look at famould's screenshot - it's a Google Ad as well. It's just that using a flowing design and resizing the window is a pain.

Yep. It is enough to make you want to author a fixed width site! Wink

Doesn't CSS have a minimum-width setting now? Or am I thinking CSS3?
[EDIT: min-width, and it's CSS2]

IE6 doesn't respect min-width and IE7 doesn't implement it "properly", so some hacking will be involved since a lot of people still access Geek Zone with IE6 & IE7.

I apologise if this has already been raised, but I assume it hasn't cos it's still there... the text in the Geekzone logo "technology community" is barely readable on either my work PC or laptop, perhaps it needs to be a shade or two lighter?

Only other thing would be that the blue and light gray on the forums proper doesn't match with the new black colour scheme... but I'm sure that'll be fixed in time.
Cheers

Good but the title of the Article gets lost in the whole scheme of things.

We already answered that. Yes, one page at a time.
